Kerrang! is a weekly music magazine, published in the United Kingdom. Its name refers to the sound made when smashing an electric guitar. Kerrang! magazine was started by Ross Halfin and first published on 6 June 1981.

I really like your comments here - especially where you have linked the visual images to the ideas and concepts behind the genre. Your points about how the colour scheme and typography reflect freedom and chaos are very interesting. Can you make the post a little larger - it's very hard for these 'old' eyes to read!
